Parking Ministry

For seventeen years St. John’s has sponsored a Parking Ministry function in association with the Dayton Dragons baseball games.
Our volunteers park cars in our two parking lots and in four additional lots donated to St. John’s by our neighbors.  Our volunteers are in our lots one hour before the game starts with street signs and a bright yellow vest  saying “St. John’s Church".

We remain the only parking facility for the Dragons games without a price!

We just ask for a donation when parking with us.

We are very proud of the missions we have supported thru the contributions we received from the thousands of fans who continue to park with us. They tell us they prefer to pay for parking by donating to something worthwhile.

A sampling of the missions we have supported includes:

YWCA Safe Sanctuary Program

 East Dayton Food Pantry

Rubate College in Kenya

Trinity Homes Senior Community

Habitat for Humanity Project

Mercy Manor

Preble, Montgomery, Greene Counties Outreach

Crossroads at Ft. Wayne Indiana

Salvation Army Booth House

If you plan on coming down for a Dragons game, give us a chance to help you with a parking space.  Let Parking Ministry at St. John’s keep on helping the variety of missions that we continue to come across.
